Ducati Streetfighter V4 & V4 S Launched, Priced From Rs. 19.99 Lakhs

Ducati has launched the 2021 model year Streetfighter V4 with a starting price tag of Rs. 19.99 lakhs (ex-showroom) in India, today.

The V4 S variant costs between Rs. 22.99 lakhs and Rs. 23.19 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the Ducati Red and Dark Stealth shades, respectively. Bookings are open for the hyper naked motorcycle that comes in Ducati Red and (S version only) Dark Stealth colours.

This bike is all about the 1103cc V4 engine which delivers 208 HP at 12,750 RPM and 123 Nm of torque at 9500 RPM. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter.

To tame the engine, top-notch electronics lifted directly from the Panigale V4 can be found on the bike which, in V4 form, weighs 201 kg (wet), while the V4 S is a couple of kilograms lighter at 199 kg (wet).

Riders who plan on taking the hyper naked to the track can fit the Akrapovic full-racing exhaust which will help increase the power and torque output of the engine (to 220 HP and 130 Nm) while also reducing the bike’s weight by 6 kg.

It is not all go and no show either. For the price, 2021 Ducati Streetfighter V4 is menacing to look at from every angle. Be it the V-shaped DRL, or the “biplane” wings, sculpted fuel tank, sharp tail section or the lightweight wheels, the machine looks ace.

Of course, the motorcycle has sophisticated componentry. The V4 model comes with Showa front forks, Sachs rear shock (both adjustable) and Sachs steering damper.

On the other hand, the Streetfighter V4 S is equipped with Ohlins suspension and steering damper which are controlled by the second-generation Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 system.

There are features such as riding modes (Street, Sport and Race), which on the S version change the suspension set up too.
