Maruti Invicto Grille
Some minor changes on the nose to differentiate the two products

Maruti Suzuki Invicto dealer dispatch commences

Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the Invicto (rebadged Toyota Innova HyCross) on 5th July. They started accepting bookings for the same on 19th July for a token amount of Rs. 25,000/-. The MPV has started arriving at dealerships.

The new details are clearly visible in the latest spy shots. The front profile gets a new grille with Suzuki logo and new detailing. It comes with twin slats of chrome, the lower slat extends into the headlight. The front bumper gets some sharp design elements with different positioning of LED DRLs.

The Maruti Invicto will get a new diamond cut alloy wheel design which looks very different from the ones seen on the Innova HyCross. The rear profile looks exactly the same apart from the darker shade of tail lights and of course the Suzuki logo along with the Invicto badging.

We expect the interior to look similar to the Innova HyCross. There might be some tweaks in the colour tones. Equipment list is not confirmed yet, Maruti might skip out on some features like ADAS, JBL speakers, powered tailgate, etc. Here you can notice there is no panoramic sunroof as well. We believe it is the lower variant and not the range topping one.

Maruti Suzuki will be offering the 2.0-litre strong hybrid petrol engine only. So we believe there will be two variants on offer – Zeta and Alpha. There is no badging for the variant name on the tailgate.

The pricing is expected to be more or less the same but Maruti Suzuki will be paying royalty to Toyota for the rebadged MPV. What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments section and join the MotorBeam Community on Facebook for more discussions.
