Chevrolet Enjoy Facelift Front

This is the Wuling Hongguang MPV made by the joint venture between SAIC, General Motors and Wuling Motors for the Chinese market. General Motors will be launching this MPV in the Indian market re-badged as the Chevrolet Enjoy. The facelifted Hongguang is all set to roll out in China within a few months but we don’t expect GM to launch the Chevrolet Enjoy in its facelifted avatar in the Indian market. The exteriors of the facelifted Hongguang features a new front grille treatment with redesigned bumpers and fog lamp housing.

The front and the rear bumper now feature silver scuff plates to make the MPV design more attractive. At the rear, the tail lamp cluster has grown bigger compared to the existing model and the trunk door gets slightly revised treatment with an integrated spoiler. The interiors have been improved vastly including the updated dashboard featuring new touch screen multimedia system, new steering wheel with controls, and stylish new gear knob with chrome inserts.

The existing Wuling Hongguang MPV in the Chinese market is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine producing a maximum power output of 86 BHP along with a 1.4-litre petrol engine churning out 102 BHP of power. The facelifted MPV for China is expected to replace the 1.4-litre engine with a 1.5-litre petrol motor churning out 111 BHP of power. General Motors is most likely to come up with the existing model in the Indian market without any changes. The launch of the Chevrolet Enjoy is set for early April.
