Fiat has revealed the Mobi small car in Brazil and this vehicle is largely targeted at young car buyers. The Mobi is slightly bigger than the Renault Kwid and thus would make for an interesting proposition if it is brought down to Indian shores. The hatchback measures 3566 mm in length, 1633 mm in width and 1502 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of of 2305 mm while its ground clearance is 156 mm.

The front fascia of the Fiat Mobi looks fresh and the grille adds some appeal to the car. The smoked headlamps lend a sporty look and they gel smoothly with the grille. The area for the fog lamps gets a black finish and there is a small styling element which starts from the fog lamp surrounds and connects itself to the air dam.

The side profile of the Fiat Mobi looks simple but the wheel arches get prominent lines over them. The rear of the Fiat Mobi is quirky at its best. The large glass area reminds us of other hatchbacks like the Honda Brio. The tail lights have a very unique design. The bumper carries simple styling and the car comes with regular 13-inch wheel caps on base variants and 14-inch alloys on the top variant.

The interiors of the Fiat Mobi are minimalist but they seem very functional and practical. It seems the car will be loaded with only the basic features like power steering, power windows and an infotainment system with functions like Bluetooth, USB and AUX. Fiat will offer its ‘Live On’ device which turns the user’s phone into the car’s multimedia system.

The Fiat Mobi is powered by a 1.0-litre flex fuel engine that runs on petrol and ethanol. It produces 73 HP of power and 93 Nm of torque on petrol and 75 HP of power and 97 Nm of torque on ethanol. The engine comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox while the hatchback has a fuel tank capacity of 47-litres.
