Hero Launches The Karizma XMR With Range-Topping Combat Edition, Gets New Livery and Upside Down Forks
Hero has launched new variants of the Karizma XMR for 2025. The new variants add new features, including Upside-Down Forks, to the sports bike. In addition to this, there are also various mechanical upgrades made to the platform. Let’s take a closer look at the 2025 Hero Karizma XMR.
Styling
The 2025 Hero Karizma now gets a top variant and range-topping Combat Edition, first showcased at EICMA 2024. It is priced at Rs. 2.02 Lakh (ex-showroom). This refresh adds the Upside-Down Forks suspension at the front to these two variants. This was notably missing in the Karizma since its launch, as it featured telescopic fork suspension.
New Upgrades
In addition to this, the Combat Edition also gets a unique grey and yellow paint scheme, which highlights the golden USDs perfectly. The Karizma XMR features a new TFT colour display with turn-by-turn navigation. It also allows the rider to check crucial information such as vehicle battery status, SMS alerts, and music control.
Engine
The Karizma XMR retains the 210cc liquid-cooled DOHC single-cylinder engine, mated to a 6-speed gearbox that produces 25 HP and 20.4 Nm of torque. Interestingly, despite the updates, the weight has remained unchanged at 163.5 kg.
Outlook
It will be fascinating to observe how this feature update to the Karizma changes its sales trajectory in becoming a popular sports bike. It is expected that the 250cc engine will be incorporated into the Karizma at some point as well as seen on the Hero Xtreme 250, which will help to compete against rivals like the KTM RC200.
