Hero Xtreme 160R Carbon Edition launch soon

Hero Xtreme 160R Carbon Edition has been trademarked. The special edition motorcycle is expected to launch soon with cosmetic tweaks,

The Indian motorcycle maker launched the Stealth Edition last year in October. It was priced at Rs. 1.16 lakhs (ex-showroom). The bike came with a matte black colour for the Stealth Edition.

We expect similar treatment for the Carbon Edition. It is likely to get an exclusive carbon colour with special edition badging.

Just like the Stealth Edition we can expect some exclusive features with the bike. It came with brightness adjustment for the LCD display (5 levels), gear indicator, integrated USB charger under the handlebar, etc.

It won’t get any mechanical changes. It will continue to be powered by the 160cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 15.2 PS at 8500 RPM and 14 Nm of peak torque at 6500 RPM. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The motorcycle weighs 139.5 kg. It comes equipped with 37 mm telescopic front fork and adjustable rear monoshock. Braking power comes from 276 mm front disc with ABS and a 220 mm rear disc.

We expect the special edition motorcycle to launch in the first quarter of 2023.
