Honda has added a new VX CVT trim on the Amaze sedan, priced from Rs. 8.56 lakhs, (ex-showroom). Till now, the CVT option on the Honda Amaze was only available with the S and V variants. But now, the new VX CVT trim will be the topmost variant of the Amaze. The petrol VX CVT trim is priced at Rs. 8.56 lakhs and the diesel VX CVT trim is priced at Rs. 9.56 lakhs (both ex-showroom, India).

The new VX CVT variant of the Honda Amaze will offer features over the V CVT variant. A 7-inch touchscreen infotainment with smartphone connectivity, additional USB port, rear camera with guidelines, driver side window one touch up with pinch guard, steering mounted voice control switches, IR remote control, and in-built satellite-linked Turn by Turn Navigation are the features offered on the VX CVT variant of the Amaze.

Honda powers the Amaze by a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that churns out 89 BHP and 110 Nm of torque. Another engine fitted under the Amaze is the 1.5-litre diesel engine that turns out 99 BHP and 200 Nm torque with the manual transmission, while the diesel CVT unit makes 78 BHP and 160 Nm of torque. The Honda Amaze is now offered in 4 variants in manual transmission for petrol and diesel: E, S, V and VX variants. Additionally, CVT is available in S, V and VX (new) variants in both petrol and diesel.
