Honda Dio Sports price goes up to Rs. 73,317/- (ex-showroom) for the top-end Deluxe variant with alloy wheels

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has launched the Dio Sports, the sporty version of the regular Dio moto-scooter, for a price tag starting from Rs. 68,317/- (ex-showroom) for the standard variant. The top-end deluxe variant is priced at Rs. 73,317/- (ex-showroom).

The new Dio Sports will be available for a limited period only. Customers can experience the new edition at their nearest Red Wing dealership or can visit www.honda2wheelersindia.com/BookNow.

Styled with attractive camouflage graphics and a sporty red rear suspension, the new limited edition scooter comes in 2 color schemes – Strontium Silver Metallic with Black and Sports Red with Black for both standard and deluxe variants.

The company said the new scooter will offer a transformed moto-scooter experience with an enhanced design language that will appeal to unisex customers. The deluxe variant additionally offers alloy wheels.

Power comes from the same 110 cc PGM-FI engine with Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) technology. The scooter has telescopic suspension, integrated dual function switch, external fuel lid, pass switch, and side stand indicator with engine cut-off.

Among other features, the new Dio Sports comes equipped with Honda’s combi-brake system (CBS) with equaliser, a 3-step adjustable rear suspension, and a 3-step eco indicator for better fuel efficiency.

It will compete with the like of the TVS Ntorq, Suzuki Avenis, Yamaha RayZR, and Aprilia SR125. The addition of telescopic front shocks and the external fuel filler cap has made the Dio a tempting proposition now thanks to its quite low price tag.

For reference, the regular Dio’s 2 variants – standard and deluxe are priced at Rs. 73,599/- and Rs. 77,099/- (ex-showroom). It’s quite surprising that the new limited edition model is massively cheaper than the regular model.
