Honda Elevate With HR-V
Looks very similar in terms of design

Honda Elevate spotted with the international HR-V model

Honda Elevate launch is just around the corner (6th June) and the compact SUV has been spotted alongside the Honda HR-V in full camouflage.

The prototype has been spotted testing in Japan. The spy shot gives us a glimpse of the size next to the Honda HR-V which is sold in the international market.

When Honda Car India released the first teaser in January, it gave us a glimpse of the HR-V with its overall silhouette. Now when you compare the two in these spy images, you will notice the resemblance between the siblings.

The headlights look exactly like the ones seen on the HR-V. The grille is covered but it is expected to get a similar styling. However, the bumper looks different as the fog lights have been repositioned on the Elevate.

If you notice carefully, the ORVM design is exactly the same on both the cars and even the windscreen cutouts are ditto! The image is a bit distorted but the size looks more or less the same.

Honda will be offering a 1.5-litre i-VTEC naturally aspirated petrol motor at the time of the launch with the Elevate. It is also expected to get a strong hybrid powertrain later. Both the engines will be borrowed from the City.

Honda will be introducing a car belonging to this segment for the first time in India. It will compete with the Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun and MG Astor!
