2024 KTM Duke 390 revealed ahead of launch

The much awaited 2024 KTM Duke 390 is about to launch soon, recent spy shots reveal the design. The bike is expected to undergo several upgrades including a displacement increase to 399cc.

Design

There is a huge update in terms of design because the new Duke 390 looks very different. The tank extensions feature sleek floating sections, while the new LED headlight integrates new DRLs. Some may find the design slightly busy due to the unconventional elements, such as the orange panel between the rider and pillion seats.

Features

The next gen Duke 390 is expected to introduce advanced safety features like traction control and cornering ABS, previously seen on the RC 390 and 390 Adventure models. Additionally, you can expect a Bluetooth-enabled TFT display and a bi-directional quickshifter. There is a redesigned TFT screen layout and updated switchgear. The adjustable hand levers will now incorporate a convenient screw adjustment mechanism.

Engine

The new Duke will feature an all-new engine. The substantial changes in crankcases, engine covers and exhaust routing signify a significant departure from the current model. The engine displacement might increase to 399cc offering more performance while meeting the new emission norms.

Price

The new Duke 390 spotted here seems like it is being prepared for transportation. It was expected to debut at EICMA in November. However, the release date may be even sooner. The updated model is likely to come with a premium price over the current model on sale, which is priced at Rs. 2.97 lakhs (ex-showroom). The new Duke is estimated to come with a price tag of around Rs. 3.2 lakhs (ex-showroom).
