Honda has picked the title “H’Ness” for its new cruiser for India as the trademark image reveals. Also, the firm has released a short teaser video, once again giving us the soundtrack of the single-cylinder motorcycle.

Due to be launched on 30th September, the H’Ness is expected to be based on the Honda Rebel 300 and will rival Royal Enfield’s 350cc range and Jawa motorcycles.

It was only a few days earlier that Honda had released the soundtrack of its new motorcycle. This latest Honda H’Ness teaser was released by Honda Big Wing India and has come in quick succession to the previous one to up the ante ahead of the bike’s launch.

The motorcycle was previously mooted to be called the Rebel 300, like in international markets. But, Honda H’Ness trademark reveals that it has chosen to take a different route with the naming for the Indian market.

To be powered by a 286cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor, that will put out 30.4 PS and 27.4 Nm, the Honda H’Ness cruiser will come with a slick-shifting 6-speed gearbox.

Although the Honda H’Ness teaser does not show the bike, we can expect it to come with features like all LED lighting, digital instrument cluster, ABS, to name a few.

Big Wing, Honda’s premium dealership network, will retail the bike which is expected to be priced around the Rs. 2 lakhs (ex-showroom) mark.
