Considering the seating position, we feel the Svartpilen 401 will attract a lot of Indian buyers than the Vitpilen 401

Two production-ready Huskies have been spotted doing test runs in Pune, Maharashtra. Earlier it was reported that the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401 will be launched in India by 2020 but the spy images of the production-ready bikes could be hinting at a launch sooner than expected.

The Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401 are draped in black and white colours respectively. The former takes the form of a Scrambler while the latter is a cafe racer. Most of the components like the suspension, engine, brakes, rims, instrument cluster and exhaust are shared between the two. The Svartpilen gets an upright riding position, raised handlebar, luggage mount on the fuel tank and dual-purpose off-road tyres while the Vitpilen gets a committed riding position, clip-on handlebars and normal road tyres.

Both the motorcycles share their powertrain with the KTM Duke 390. The 373.3cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled and fuel-injected motor produces 44.1 PS of power and 37 Nm of torque. Having said this, expect the engines to be tuned to match cafe racer and scrambler traits. Suspension duties are handled by WP inverted forks up front and a monoshock at the rear while stopping power comes from 320 mm and 230 mm disc for the front and rear wheel respectively.

The Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401 get features like ride-by-wire, ABS, slipper clutch and fully-digital console with Bluetooth connectivity options.
