Hyundai Creta & Alcazar Adventure Edtions will get Ranger Khaki colour exterior

Hyundai is gearing up to launch a special edition of Creta and Alcazar called the Adventure Edition. This new limited edition will replace the Creta’s Knight Edition and will also be available for the Alcazar. The expected launch date is around August-end or early September.

The Adventure Edition will be all about cosmetic updates. Both the Creta and Alcazar Adventure Editions will get a new ‘Ranger Khaki’ colour option, similar to the one seen on the recently launched Exter. It will likely have a dual-tone finish with a contrasting black roof.

The cars will get black contrast exterior elements on the front and rear bumpers, roof rails, ORVMs and alloy wheels. Adventure Edition badges are expected to be placed on the front fenders to differentiate from the regular variants.

Inside the special edition models, you can expect an all-black finish interior with contrast stitching for the upholstery and ‘Adventure Edition’ badges on the seat headrests and door sills.

Of course there will be no changes under the hood. Hyundai is expected to offer the special editions with both 1.5-litre diesel and petrol engine options of both the cars. Both manual and automatic gearbox options will be offered too, just like the Knight Edition models.

Pricing for the Adventure Edition line-up is expected to be slightly higher than the regular trims they are based on for both the cars. There will be no additional features on offer. Expect more such special editions from other companies ahead of the festive season.
