Hyundai Creta N Line Patent

Hyundai Creta N Line launch next month, bookings likely to open later this month

Hyundai is set to unveil its latest addition to the Creta lineup, the much awaited Creta N Line variant, just two months after the launch of the facelifted model. Prices slated to be announced on 11th March and bookings expected to commence by the end of this month.

One of the key highlights of the Creta N Line is its new powertrain option – 160 HP, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with the option of a 6-speed manual transmission. It will also include the existing 7-speed DCT gearbox. The N Line variant will also get a retuned suspension setup, revised steering and a sportier exhaust system.

Visually, the Creta N Line will boast a distinct design to set it apart as the sportier variant. Upgrades include a new bumper with a slimmer grille, wider air inlets, pronounced side skirts with red accents, larger 18-inch wheels and a larger roof-mounted spoiler. Inside the cabin, it will get subtle enhancements such as an all-black finish, N Line-specific steering wheel and gear lever, metal pedals and red accents.

In terms of competition, the Creta N Line stands out as a unique offering in the midsize SUV segment. While it doesn’t have a direct rival upon launch, other special edition variants in the market include the Kia Seltos X Line and the Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo. With premium features and some changes, we can expect a modest markup of around Rs. 50,000/- for the N Line variant over the regular Creta.
