Hyundai IONIQ 5
It has a range of 383 km on single charge

Hyundai Ioniq 5 bookings to commence soon in India

Hyundai Ioniq 5 bookings to open from 20th December for the Indian market. Hyundai’s flagship electric car will be locally assembled in India. It has been spotted testing multiple times of late across the country.

In terms of design, it carries a futuristic design language which is quite different from their regular range of cars on offer in India. It has a sharp front profile with square headlight units. It has clean yet sharp lines on the side profile. The rear profile looks attractive too with a sleek set of LED tail lights.

It is powered by a 169 HP electric motor with 58 kWh battery pack. It also comes with a larger 77.4 kWh battery pack which comes with a claimed range of 506 km on single charge. However, Hyundai is likely to offer the smaller 58 kWh battery with 383 km range on single charge.

Unlike its Kia sibling, the EV6, the Ioniq 5 will be assembled locally in India and hence will undercut the pricing. We believe it’ll be priced under Rs. 50 lakhs (ex-showroom). It will compete directly with the Kia EV6.
