The popular hatchback Santro made a comeback after years in 2018. Hyundai is now celebrating its first anniversary and what better occasion than this fruitful festive season. The Santro Anniversary Edition comes with cosmetic updates and is based on the mid-spec Sportz variant.
The Hyundai Santro Anniversary Edition is priced around Rs. 10,000/- more than the regular Sportz variant. It is available in both MT and AMT gearbox options. The Santro Anniversary Edition Sportz MT is priced at Rs. 5.17 lakhs while the AMT variant is priced at Rs. 5.75 lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi).
The exterior changes include gunmetal grey wheel covers, black ORVMs, black door handles, side body moulding, glossy black roof rails, chrome strip on the boot and Anniversary Edition badges.
The interiors of the special edition comes with all-black sporty colour theme along with blue accents. There are no mechanical changes. It is powered by a 1.1-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 69 HP and 99 Nm of torque.
The anniversary edition is available only in two colour options – Polar White and Aqua Teal. The new special edition might attract more buyers this festive season.
