Hyundai Santro will come with new variants within 6 months of its launch.
To compete against the Maruti Alto and other entry-level cars, Hyundai has decided to reshuffle the model variants and features of the Santro. While other variants come with ABS, EBD and a driver side airbag, features like ABS, EBD, Dual Front Airbags are limited to the Sportz AMT and Asta Manual trim.

The Santro gets two engine options – a 1.1-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 68.05 BHP and 99 Nm of torque. The 1.1-litre 4-cylinder petrol+CNG engine that produces 58 BHP and 84 Nm. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The petrol powered Magna and Sportz variants come with the option of AMT.
