Toyota Innova Crysta GX+

Toyota hikes Innova Crysta prices by up to Rs. 26,000 with no updates

Toyota has increased prices for the Innova Crysta by up to Rs. 26,000, with the revision affecting all variants of the MPV. Following the adjustment, the Innova Crysta now retails between Rs. 18.85 lakhs and Rs. 25.53 lakhs (ex-showroom). Aside from the revised pricing, no mechanical or feature changes have been introduced.

The Innova Crysta continues to be offered in four trims – GX, GX+, VX and ZX – with multiple seating configurations. All but the top-spec ZX can be had with either a 7- or 8-seat layout. The highest revision has been applied to the ZX, while the base GX trim sees the smallest increase.

Updated Pricing Overview

The latest price revision varies depending on trim and seating configuration, ranging from Rs. 19,000 to Rs. 26,000. The ZX 7-seater variant becomes costlier by Rs. 26,000, pushing its ex-showroom price to Rs. 25.53 lakh. Meanwhile, both 7- and 8-seat versions of the GX now cost Rs. 18.85 lakh, up by Rs. 19,000 from earlier pricing. A Platinum White Pearl paint option continues to be available at an additional Rs. 14,000 across all trims.

No Other Changes to the MPV

Toyota has not made any updates to the Innova Crysta beyond pricing. The model retains its 2.4-litre diesel engine, producing 150 HP and 343 Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox sending power to the rear wheels.

Feature highlights include an 8-inch touchscreen, analogue instrument cluster with TFT display, powered driver’s seat, and auto climate control with rear AC vents. On the safety front, the MPV offers up to seven airbags (with three standard), along with parking sensors at both ends, a rear camera and hill-start assist.

Market Positioning

The current-gen Innova Crysta has been on sale since 2016 and is expected to remain available until 2027, after which it will be phased out due to upcoming CAFE-3 emission and efficiency norms. It currently competes with models such as the Maruti Suzuki Invicto, Toyota Innova Hycross and Kia Carens Clavis.
