Jeep has finally introduced the Compass Trailhawk in India at Rs. 26.8 lakhs (ex-showroom). The Trailhawk has been spotted on test multiple times and is due for launch since a long while. The fully loaded version of the Compass is here and it’s a more capable off-roader than its regular counterpart.

The Compass Trailhawk comes with some premium styling elements. The bumpers have been revised to offer better approach and departure angle. The bonnet comes with an anti-glare black decal. It comes with a Trail Rated badge. There are black contrasting elements across the exterior. Jeep is offering Red/Black and White/Black colour options.

The American SUV maker has increased the ground clearance by 30 mm, making it 205 mm. The interior gets an all-black colour scheme with 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen infotainment system offering Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth and navigation.

Some of the other features include Engine Stop/Start, Cruise Control, Hill Descent Control, etc. The Jeep Active Drive 4×4 Low ratio offers better off-roading. It comes with Rock Mode in addition to Auto, Sand, Mud and Snow.

The Jeep Compass Trailhawk is powered by a 2.0-litre BS6 compliant diesel engine that produces 170 BHP and 350 Nm of torque. This engine comes mated with a new 9-speed automatic transmission. Jeep claims that there is an improvement in fuel efficiency by 6 percent.
