Kia Seltos X Line Reveal
This Matte Graphite colour is exclusive to the Seltos X Line

The official reveal of the Kia Seltos X Line has taken place

The official reveal of the Kia Seltos X Line has taken place ahead of the new variant’s launch scheduled for September.

This new version, which is inspired by the Seltos X-Line concept showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo, is now the new top-spec variant of the compact SUV range.

While there are no styling changes on either the exterior or the interior of the Seltos, the X Line grade does look different as it follows a similar ethos to the Dark variants of Tata Motors.

Kia has painted the Seltos X Line in the Matte Graphite shade (the radiator grille comes in the same colour too), and has used orange accents on the front and rear bumpers, on the door claddings and on the centre caps of the wheels.

Kia has opted for a different upholstery for the new variant

There are piano black accents elsewhere on the vehicle. For example, the grille surround comes in piano black, so do the ORVM caps, fog lamp trim and antenna.

The chrome garnish on the tailgate now comes in gloss black and the front and rear skid plates get the same treatment too. Kia has fitted 18-inch alloy wheels to the Seltos X Line and of course, there is a model specific badge on the tailgate.

Inside, the Seltos X Line gets Indigo Pera leatherette seats with honeycomb pattern and grey stitching, while the dash comes in a dual tone (black and grey) theme.

Kia Seltos X Line Rear
It will not be a limited-run model

Based on the GT Line variants, the Seltos X Line will be offered with 2 powertrains – a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol motor (140 HP and 242 Nm) with a 7-speed DCT and a 1.5-litre diesel engine (115 HP and 250 Nm) with a 6-speed torque converter auto.

Although nothing was said about the price during the Kia Seltos X Line reveal, expect the variant to command a premium for the unique touches it features.
