While the price of the Komaki Ranger and that of the Venice is out, the EVs will be available from 26th January

Komaki Electric Vehicles has launched the Ranger motorcycle at a price of Rs. 1.68 lakh and the Venice scooter at Rs. 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom), today in India.

Komaki Ranger –

Billed as the nation’s first electric cruiser motorcycle, the Komaki Ranger is available in Deep Blue, Garnet Red and Jet Black colourways.

The electric bike has lots of chromed components, ape hanger-style handlebar, split seat with pillion backrest, 2 storage boxes, and it rides on alloy wheels.

As for equipment, the Ranger has Bluetooth sound system, cruise control, anti-theft lock system and a side-stand sensor. It also has a pair of daft exhaust canister-like elements.

Power comes from a 4 kW (5.4 BHP) electric motor that draws juice from a 4 kWh battery pack. Komaki says the ranger can do between 180 and 220 km in a single charge.

The Komaki Venice has the looks of a Vespa through and through. It is equipped with a self-diagnosis system, a mobile charging point, anti-theft lock system, regenerative braking and reverse assist.

Featuring a full body guard. a flyscreen and an additional storage box in the back, the Venice, which will come with 9 paint options, has a 2.9 kWh battery pack and a 3 kW (4 BHP) electric motor providing the drive.

No claimed range in a single charge or the torque figure of this particular model has been revealed by the electric 2-wheeler manufacturer.
