KTM 390 Enduro R Global-Spec Launched In India, Priced At Rs. 3.53 Lakh (ex-showroom)

KTM has launched the global-spec 390 Enduro R in India. When the brand launched the 390 Enduro R, it was tuned for Indian conditions which offered lesser suspension travel and a lower seat height. This saw a lot of criticism from the admirers of the 390 Enduro R.

This is why KTM assured these admirers that it will sell the global-spec 390 Enduro R alongside the Indian-spec 390 Enduro R, in limited numbers. The global-spec 390 Enduro R features more capable suspension, boosting its ability for covering rough trails and challenging terrains. KTM prices the global-spec 390 Enduro R at Rs. 3.53 Lakh (ex-showroom).

Suspension & Braking

The most notable change to the global-spec 390 Enduro R is the suspension update. At the front, a 43mm upside-down fork setup is featured, with 30-step damping. At the rear, there is a monoshock setup with 20-step damping and 10-step adjustable preload.

In terms of braking, there is 285mm disc at the front and 240mm disc at the rear. The front and rear also get a floating calliper, increasing the stopping power. Notably, the seat height of the global spec Enduro R is also a higher 895mm.

The global-spec suspension allows for a wheel travel of 230mm for the front and rear. The Indian-spec 390 Enduro R offered only 200-205mm of travel, which was the same as the 390 Adventure.

Engine

The same 399cc LC4C single-cylinder engine powers the global-spec KTM 390 Enduro R. It produces 46 HP at 8500 RPM and 39 NM of torque at 6500 RPM. The engine pairs with a 6-speed gearbox with wet, slip, and assist clutch with quickshifter.
