The 390 Adventure spotted lately is a completely different bike

The KTM 390 Scrambler and Adventure have been spotted on test. While it isn’t the first time that the latter has been spotted, the former sure is. However, the 390 Adventure spotted recently is a completely different version of the 390 Adventure that was spotted in December 2016.

Let’s start with the Scrambler first. The KTM 390 Scrambler gets compact dimensions as the Duke 390. The fuel-tank and tank extensions look similar to the Duke 390’s. The test mule sports spoked wheel and alloy wheel at the front and rear respectively. The Duke 390’s LED headlamp seems to have been carried over to the 390 Scrambler as well. Overall, the 390 Scrambler will fit in to provide a moderate level of off-roading experience.

Coming to the KTM 390 Adventure, somehow this test mule doesn’t seem to be production ready. The previously spotted bike was a proper off-road motorcycle with chunky long travel suspension, large spoke wheels and a flat seat. Like the 390 Scrambler, the 390 Adventure too uses spoke wheel at the front and an alloy wheel at the rear. KTM must be testing the wheel sizes and types. The test mule features a petal disc, raised front mudguard and off-road biased dual purpose tyres.

Both the 390 Scrambler and Adventure will be showcased at the upcoming EICMA Motor Show on 7th November.
