The much awaited KTM 390 Adventure will be launched in the Indian market first.
Indian motorcycle enthusiasts, specially adventure bike lovers are eagerly waiting for the KTM 390 Adventure. The Austrian brand had announced that they will be introducing the 390 Adventure in India this year. The bike is now expected to be launched in India first.
The KTM 390 Adventure will be revealed at the 2019 EICMA show in Milan. Soon after its revealing, the bike is expected to launch in India in December 2019. India will be the first country to witness the launch of this adventure motorcycle.
Production of the 390 Adventure will begin at the Chakan plant soon after its global debut. The same assembly line will be making the upcoming Husqvarna Svartpilen and Vitpilen 401 bikes. We have seen multiple spy shots of the 390 Adventure on test.
The bike has been spotted with alloys while testing but it is likely to be introduced with spoked wheels as well. It will be powered by the same 373.2cc motor seen in the Duke 390 that churns out 44 HP and 37 Nm. The tuning on the Adventure motorcycle will be different.
The KTM 390 Adventure will compete with the likes of Royal Enfield Himalayan, BMW G 310 GS and the Kawasaki Versys X-300 in the Indian market. We expect heavy localisation and aggressive pricing from KTM.
We can expect KTM to offer a host of accessories with the 390 Adventure including luggage accessories for long distance touring.
