The KTM Duke 790 was launched at Rs. 8.63 lakhs, ex-showroom, in September 2019. As part of a limited period, New Year’s offer, the middle-weight bike is now being offered with a discount up to Rs. 1 lakh. One can even avail the KTM_UPSHIFT program that offers flexible finance schemes.

The discounted KTM Duke 790 is the BS4 version of the roadster motorcycle. It is powered by a 799cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled, 8-valve, DOHC engine that churns 105 PS of peak power and a maximum torque of 87 Nm. The six-speed gearbox benefits from a PASC slip-assist clutch and comes with a Quickshifter+ (up and downshifts) as standard.

The KTM Duke 790 is currently available in 9 cities – Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Guwahati, Surat, Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai. The company will introduce the BS6-compliant variant to the market next. It aims to increase the availability of the motorcycle to over 30 cities by April 2020.

In terms of safety, the KTM Duke 790 gets switchable ABS, cornering ABS, wheelie control, Motor Slip Regulation (MSR), switchable ABS and cornering ABS.
