The teaser video showcases the 3 upcoming electric SUV models from Mahindra

Mahindra has released another short teaser video of its upcoming electric SUV models, which will be unveiled by July this year in concept form.

Developed under the company’s ‘Born Electric Vision’ programme, the 3 electric SUVs have been designed by the Mahindra Advanced Design Europe team.

They will be used to showcase the brand’s new design direction which will then be applied to all of its future products. Their eye-catching feature is arguably the C-shaped front DRLs and tail lamps (the units are full-width in the largest model).

To be based on a bespoke electric platform, the upcoming electric SUVs from Mahindra will be sold alongside a few electric vehicles (EVs) that are based on a revised version of the brand’s internal combustion architecture.

Is the largest model the eXUV900?

While the exterior design comprises sharp, angular lines and raked windscreens, the Mahindra electric SUV teaser shows that the cars will come with butch and rugged styling, a prominent rear spoiler, wide track and high ground clearance.

What’s more, when the screen brightness is maxed, the EVs’ minimalist dashboard and squarish steering wheel can be seen along with the light-coloured cabin theme.

The dash seems to have horizontal air-con vents integrated into it. While the driver does get a large digital screen, a central touchscreen cannot be seen inside. But, the seats are rather futuristic and very concept car like.

Nothing else is known about these models. Expect more information to be revealed about these EVs, which should be equipped to the rafters with features, by the automaker closer to their unveiling.
