The discounts are available till the end of September and NEXA dealerships are providing the option to book the S-Cross and finalise the variant later in order to avail the benefits.
Launched in August earlier this year, Maruti Suzuki’s new ‘S-Cross’ is doing decently well in the market but is still not up to the volumes the Hyundai Creta is drawing in the same segment. Given the fact that the flagship Maruti is losing its novel value as the days pass, several NEXA dealerships across the country are offering hefty discounts on the premium crossover in a bid to lure prospective buyers to the showroom floor.
NEXA dealerships in Delhi-NCR, Gurgaon, Mumbai and Chennai are offering discounts ranging from Rs. 20,000/- going up to Rs. 1,00,000/- for the 1.3-litre DDiS 200 variants, while other dealerships are offering discounts and benefits of another Rs. 20,000/-. The 1.6-litre DDiS 320 engine variants get benefits starting from Rs. 70,000/- as well as a loyalty bonus of Rs. 30,000/- on the exchange of older Maruti vehicles. Other dealerships in the country are offering benefits of up to Rs. 90,000/- on the DDiS 320 trims while exchange on old cars and other benefits will fetch you an additional Rs. 40,000/-.
All said, the schemes will help create a more rational price especially on the 1.6-litre variants of the Maruti S-Cross that do feel overpriced compared to the competition. Tagged as a premium crossover, the S-Cross distinguishes itself on having a more hatchback-like profile, spacious interiors and good build quality. It is also the automaker’s only offering to get airbags on all variants (driver side airbag on the base trim) and is available only with two diesel engine options.
If you were planning to head to your nearest NEXA dealership to avail any of the aforementioned discounts, make sure to head soon as the offers are available only till 30th September 2015. However, dealerships are also providing the option to initially book the crossover at a token amount of Rs. 11,000/- in order to avail the offers and finalise on the variant and other details later.
