Mercedes-Benz’ second launch for year 2015 is the C-Class diesel and the company plans to put 15 new models on sale in India. The diesel C-Class joins the petrol model which was launched less than three months back.

C-Class vs S-Class
The all new C-Class has a striking resemblance to the latest generation S-Class

Mercedes-Benz has launched the diesel version of the fourth generation C-Class in India, priced at Rs. 39.90 lakhs for the Style variant and Rs. 42.90 lakhs for the Avantgarde trim (ex-showroom, Delhi). The C-Class is Mercedes’ entry-level rear-wheel drive sedan and has a lot of importance in the Indian market as it was for a long time the cheapest way to enter the prestigious three-pointed star. Taking inspiration from the flagship saloon from the Stuttgart maker, the new C-Class has a lot of S-Class in it which amplifies the appeal of the vehicle by several notches. The exterior design is very much like the S-Class while the interior too gets some bits from it.
