Yamaha FZ V3.0 to get more powerful and fuel efficient

The Yamaha FZ V3.0 ABS version was launched just a couple of weeks ago, with the company adding a few cosmetic changes to the already popular bike to make it look a bit more hunkier and refreshing the look of the bike. These changes to the bike grabbed a few more eyeballs but left a couple of enthusiasts disappointed as the changes were only to touch-up the bike’s already butch look.

The company plans to upgrade the engine according to the BS6 norms, which would cater to a more powerful version of the bike. At present, the bike produces 13 BHP and 12.8 Nm of torque derived from its 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine.

The focus will now shift on to the BS6 emission norms, which would increase the company’s cost of production, but the company might advocate that with better performance engines and reduction in fuel wastage compared to the outgoing model. This time the bike will come with fuel injection along with a bump in power for the Yamaha FZ V3.0, a delight for the followers of the bike.
