Hero Maestro Edge 125 gets updated to comply with BS6

BMW X1 – BMW to introduce X1 facelift in India on 5th March. The new BMW X1 comes with minor cosmetic changes inside out along with new features. The X1 will be offered with BS6 compliant petrol and diesel engine options.

Maruti Ciaz – Maruti Suzuki has discontinued the Ciaz diesel. The dealers are not accepting bookings for the diesel variant of the Ciaz. The automaker is not updating the 1.5-litre diesel engine of the Ciaz to comply with the BS6 emission norms and hence the diesel variants are getting discontinued.

Hero Maestro Edge 125 – Hero MotoCorp has updated their entire lineup of two-wheelers with BS6 engines. One of them is the Hero Maestro Edge 125 which is available in 3 variants and is priced from Rs. 67,950/- (ex-showroom). The 125cc engine produces 9 HP at 7000 RPM and 10.4 Nm at 5500 RPM.

Hero Splendor Plus – The Hero Splendor Plus has been updated with BS6 compliant engine too and is priced from Rs. 59,600/- (ex-showroom). The 97.2cc engine has got fuel injection which produces 7.9 HP at 8000 RPM and 8.05 Nm at 6000 RPM, mated to a 4-speed gearbox.

Hero – The Indian bike maker has also revealed a new 300cc+ prototype of an adventure motorcycle. It will be the first Hero motorcycle to use Trellis frame. It is expected to produce over 30 HP from its single cylinder engine.
