2026 Kia Seltos Interior Spied

Spied images reveal upgraded interior and tech for next-generation Kia Seltos

The second generation Kia Seltos is nearing its global debut on December 10 and the latest spy images have provided the clearest look yet at its redesigned interior. While earlier teasers focused on exterior changes, these pictures reveal significant updates to the cabin that signal a more premium, modern approach for the upcoming SUV.

The test vehicle appears to be the GT Line variant, showcasing a dual-tone black-and-cream colour scheme. A newly styled three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel with integrated controls sets the tone for a more contemporary cockpit, reflecting design influences from Kia’s newer international SUVs.

A standout upgrade is the single connected housing for the infotainment system and digital cluster, blending both screens into one seamless panel. This setup, similar to Kia’s latest models globally, gives the cabin a more upmarket feel and brings the Seltos closer to the brand’s current design language.

Other visible enhancements include metal-finish pedals, ambient lighting elements, a redesigned centre console with new storage spaces and repositioned drive mode controls, and a revised gear selector. The dashboard features slimmer air vents and updated HVAC controls, while the use of textured materials and contrast stitching suggests improved perceived quality.

Exterior teasers released by Kia earlier showcased a sharper front-end design, a more sculpted profile and a refreshed lighting signature. The new Seltos is also expected to grow in size, potentially improving rear-seat space.

For India, the familiar set of powertrains is expected to continue – 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel – with reports indicating a possible switch to a seven-speed automatic for the diesel. Globally, the new model will offer a hybrid powertrain option producing 141 HP and 265 Nm.

Enhanced ADAS features are anticipated as competition in the midsize SUV segment intensifies. Kia is expected to strengthen active safety technology to match segment leaders.

Both the global and Indian premieres are scheduled for December 10, with an India launch projected for early 2026. The ongoing road testing suggests the next-generation Seltos is in its final phase of development, aiming to deliver improved technology, comfort and refinement when it arrives.
