Nissan Magnite Testing Front
We can be rest assured that the car would have been put through its paces during testing

Nissan India has revealed that the Magnite compact SUV will be globally unveiled on 21st October 2020 through a virtual event.

The upcoming product, says the carmaker, is a feature-rich premium offering for the future, with stylish design and strong, dynamic road presence.

In addition to the announcement of the global unveil, Nissan has also released images taken while the compact SUV was being tested at the Tochigi Proving Ground in Japan.

Incidentally, it is the same place where the legendary GT-R was also tested, and so was the Ariya that was revealed earlier this year.

According to the Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, Rakesh Srivastava, the Magnite was designed keeping in mind the requirements of the Indian customer.

He added that he is confident that the Nissan Magnite unveil and consequently its launch, will redefine the compact SUV segment in India.

It was only last week that we reported about a production-spec Magnite that was spied without any camouflage at a fuel outlet. The official testing images correspond with what we have seen so far.

It is for sure a stylish product from the Japanese carmaker that, its maker promises, would have an array of best-in-class and first-in-class features.

We have to wait and see what new features that Nissan has bestowed its new car with since it will be entering quite a competitive segment that is currently dominated by Maruti, Hyundai and, recently, Kia.
