Bajaj Auto to update RS 200 with dual-channel ABS soon

The Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 is getting an update very soon. The Indian bike maker is introducing dual-channel ABS in the RS 200. It will be priced at Rs. 1,42,014/- (ex-showroom).

The price will increase by Rs. 1402/- compared to the single-channel ABS version. This move by the Indian bike maker will make the Pulsar RS 200 more competitive.

Currently, the direct rivals of the Pulsar RS 200 are offering dual-channel ABS as standard. Hence, this move is in the right direction for the RS 200 to be more competitive.

Apart from the dual-channel ABS, there will be no mechanical and cosmetic updates. Considering the price difference, the Pulsar RS 200 won’t even get BS6 compliant engine with this update.

Bajaj Auto is expected to introduce the BS6 version closer to the deadline in April 2020. Currently the bike is powered by a 199cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder BS4 motor that produces 24.5 BHP and 18.6 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
