Royal Enfield has started accepting bookings for the Interceptor 650 & Continental GT 650.

Royal Enfield 650 twins will be launched next month. The company has started accepting bookings for the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650. The prices of these motorcycles are expected to start under Rs. 3 lakhs (ex-showroom). The booking amount is set at Rs. 5000/-.

Both the bikes get conventional telescopic forks and gas-charged twin shock absorbers. The bikes get a single 320 mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear. The Royal Enfield 650 twins come equipped with dual channel ABS as standard. Both the bikes come with Pirelli Phantom SportComp 100/90/18 at the front and 130/70/18 at the rear.

The Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650, both are powered by the same motor, 648cc air-cooled, SOHC, fuel-injected parallel-twin engine which produces 47 HP and 52 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.

The Royal Enfield 650 twins claim a top speed of over 160 km/hr. The modern classic gets a 13.7-litre fuel tank while the cafe racer gets a smaller 12.5-litre fuel tank capacity.
