Royal Enfield Meteor Variants
These are the three varaints that the RE Meteor will be availble in

After the photos of the speedometer, now the features and variants of the RE Meteor 350 have also been leaked. The motorcycle gets 7 colour options and 3 variants to choose from.

As we stated earlier, the RE Meteor 350 will serve as a replacement to the RE Thunderbird 350X. Further, the Meteor will also serve as a stepping stone to the upcoming motorcycles in the new J platform by Royal Enfield.

There have been many spy shots of the Meteor previously, but now the brochure, colour options and even variants have been leaked. All this suggests that the launch is right around the corner.

Let’s talk about the variants first. The RE Meteor will be available in 3 variants, all distinct in their own way. First, there’s the stylish Fireball variant. It features blacked-out parts, single-colour fuel tank, machined cooling fins and coloured wheel rim tape. This resembles the Thunderbird 350X the most.

Second, there’s the Stellar variant. Unlike the Fireball variant, the Stellar variant features body-coloured components, premium badging, chrome exhaust, chrome handlebar, chrome EFI cover, and a backrest.

Finally, there’s the Supernova variant. This seems to be the top-of-line variant of the Meteor and will likely be the costliest of the three. The Supernova variant will feature a windscreen, dual-tone colour scheme, machined alloy wheels, premium seat cover and even chrome signals over the Stellar variant.

Also, a “Tripper Navigation” feature is common to all variants. As we reported, this is most likely the Bluetooth Connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation feature which is a first for any RE motorcycle!

Moreover, the new engine of the Meteor will feature an Over Head Cam setup instead of the previous Tappet-valve arrangement. Consequently, the engine will probably make power than the current 350cc RE motor.

Lastly, the RE Meteor 350 will be available in 7 colour options, namely- Fireball Yellow, Fireball Red, Stellar Red metallic, Stellar Black matte, Stellar Blue metallic, Supernova Brown dual-tone and Supernova Blue dual-tone.

Overall, it seems that RE is trying to up their game in many aspects and trying hard to give the ‘old-school’ motorcycles a modern touch. The pricing of the RE Meteor can range from around Rs. 1.65 lakhs to about Rs. 1.85 lakhs.
