Renault India has expanded the Duster lineup with the launch of the new Adventure Edition, a special edition of its midsize SUV. Priced from Rs. 12.99 lakhs (ex-showroom), the new variant is based on the Techno trim and combines cosmetic enhancements with the same equipment list and powertrain options available on the standard model.
One of the key highlights of the Adventure Edition is its pricing. Renault has positioned it below the equivalent Techno variants, with prices reportedly lower by around Rs. 40,000 – Rs. 50,000 despite the addition of exclusive exterior and interior styling elements.
Renault Duster Adventure Edition Prices (Ex-showroom):
– 1.0-litre Turbo Petrol MT – Rs. 12.99 lakhs
– 1.3-litre Turbo Petrol MT – Rs. 13.99 lakhs
– 1.3-litre Turbo Petrol AT – Rs. 15.39 lakhs
Visually, the Adventure Edition distinguishes itself through a series of model-specific cosmetic upgrades. These include Adventure-themed graphics featuring topographical contour patterns and the geographical coordinates of Leh, along with dedicated exterior embellishments. The cabin also receives branded floor mats exclusive to this edition.
Apart from these styling revisions, the feature list remains unchanged from the Techno variant. Buyers get full-LED headlamps, a panoramic sunroof, a powered tailgate, dual-zone automatic climate control, connected car technology, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 17-inch alloy wheels.
The Adventure Edition continues to be offered with all three powertrain options available on the regular Duster. Customers can choose the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a manual transmission or the larger 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine, available with either a manual or an automatic gearbox. Renault has made no mechanical changes to the engines or transmission for this special edition.
With the launch of the Adventure Edition, Renault aims to offer buyers a more distinctive version of the Duster while retaining the equipment and performance of the standard SUV at a comparatively lower price point.
