Renault Kiger Launched, Priced From Rs. 5.45 Lakhs

Renault India has launched the Kiger compact SUV with a price tag of Rs. 5.45 lakhs (ex-showroom, India) for the entry-level variant.

Designed by the automaker’s French and Indian teams, the car has been developed in India and is produced here as well.

Available in 4 trims, namely – RXE, RXL, RXT and RXZ, the compact SUV was unveiled late January and sports a modern design with a spacious cabin. Click here to know more about the car’s styling and features.

It can be had in any of the 6 body colours, namely – Caspian Blue, Ice Cool White, Mahogany Brown, Moonlight Silver, Planet Grey and Radiant Red, and all of them can also be specified with dual tone combination.

Built on the CMFA+ platform, the compact SUV comes with the choice of 2 petrol engines, both 1.0-litre units – one being naturally aspirated and the other featuring a turbo – can be had either with a 5-speed manual or with 2 pedal offerings.

The Renault Kiger price also includes multisense drive modes, and safety features like 4 airbags, 3-point seatbelts for 4 main seats (rear middle passenger gets a 2-point seatbelt), and seat belt reminder alert for front seat occupants.

Moreover, Renault offers plenty of accessories, including a wireless charger and air purifier, and there are 5 personalisation packs – Attractive, Essential, Smart, Smart Plus and SUV – for customers to choose.

Starting today, customers can book the Kiger at the carmaker’s authorised dealerships or on its website by paying a token amount of Rs. 11,000/-.

Dispatches of the Kiger have started to reach Renault’s sales outlets across India, of which there are more than 500, and test drives have commenced as well.
