2011 Renault Fluence

Renault launched the Fluence recently and has met with moderate success. The Fluence was launched in both petrol and diesel guise, but the diesel model was stripped off features to price it competitively. The petrol Fluence on the other hand has all the bells and whistles you expect from a car of this segment. However, when your selling a car in the D-segment, you ought to give buyers various variants. Renault has already realized that and plans to launch a higher end variant of the Fluence by the end of this month. Meanwhile the French automaker has launched the Fluence Diesel Festive Edition.

So what is this Festive Edition all about? Renault dealers are offering the diesel Fluence with Stanley leather seats and rear parking assist to boost sales. These fitments are at dealer level but backed by the company. The company is celebrating this festive season by offering the above features at now extra cost, making the Rs. 12.99 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the Fluence Diesel an offer worth considering. The diesel Fluence is powered by a 1.5-liter common rail motor, which produces 105 BHP of power and 240 Nm of torque. With an ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 22 kmpl, the Fluence Diesel is easily the most frugal D-segment sedans around.
