Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Spotted Testing, Ridden By Senior Officials In Ladakh
Royal Enfield has been spotted testing the Himalayan 750 in Ladakh. The senior management of the company rode the adventure tourer in the high-altitude environment. The test mule revealed key details of the highly anticipated Himalayan 750 even under heavy camouflage.
Styling
Large front fairings house the circular LED headlight. The tall windscreen sits above the assembly. The larger fuel tank helps the bike exude an aggressive stance. The rear section appears a lot slimmer and follows a clean design in contrast to the bulky front section.
The exhaust pipe sits high, close to the tail section. This design detail will help the Himalayan cover treacherous terrains with high water levels. Not to mention, this design makes it easier for the riders to mount their luggage bags or panniers.
Wheels & Suspension
Royal Enfield is using a new frame and subframe for the Himalayan, which is larger. It features an upside-down fork suspension in the front and a monoshock setup in the rear. The adventure tourer appears to be riding on 19-inch front wheels and 17-inch rear wheels.
The Himalayan 750 will have wire-spoke wheels and tubeless tyres.
Expected Features
In terms of features, Royal Enfield will equip the Himalayan 750 with tonnes of creature comforts, elevating its status to the top as an adventure tourer. The TFT display could pack features like Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, cruise control and much more.
Engine
The Himalayan 750, as the name suggests, will be powered by a 750cc air/oil-cooled parallel twin engine. Expect figures to be higher than 50 HP and 60 NM of torque. The engine will mate to a 6-speed gearbox.
Expected Launch Date
Royal Enfield will unveil the Himalayan 750 sometime later in 2025. The Himalayan with a larger engine will generate a lot of excitement amongst the admirers of the adventure touring platform.
