Royal Enfield Scram 411 Spotted
It would be yet another comfortable road bike from Enfield

The recently spotted Royal Enfield Scram 411 had a dual tone fuel tank

The Royal Enfield Scram 411 has recently been spotted in what looks to be its production-ready guise. This road-oriented motorcycle is based on the Himalayan, Royal Enfield’s sole adventure bike on sale today.

Unlike previous development mules of the bike that have been spotted out on the roads, this particular model seems complete and ready to enter mass production.

When compared with the Himalayan, the recently spotted Scram 411 features a grey-coloured headlamp cowl, repositioned front indicators, a simpler twin dial instrument cluster and a fuel tank with a dual tone paint scheme.

Some vivid paint schemes can be expected from Enfield for this model

Also, the upcoming motorcycle features new tank extensions, revised side panels, new pillion passenger grab handle, and a modified rear mudguard with repositioned blinkers.

Of course, the main difference here is the presence of a smaller front wheel (it should be either an 18- or 19- inch rim) and a single-piece seat, while there is no high-set fender and the steering rake seems to have been revised.

Although it seems that the suspension travel of the Scram 411 will be less than that of the Himalayan, due to the bike being being laden with a rider, it is hard to guess. But, a more approachable seat height is necessary especially for a bike that will stick to the tarmac.

This is among many new products the company will launch in 2022

The Chennai-based premium motorcycle manufacturer seems to have carried forward the Himalayan’s powertrain (411cc engine making 24.3 BHP and 32 Nm, mated to a 5-speed gearbox) to the Scram 411 as is. Even the exhaust system is identical.

Expected to be launched in the market early next year, the new product from Enfield should cost less than the adventure bike it is derived from.
