Skoda Auto India surpasses 5 lakh sales, marking its strongest year yet
Skoda Auto India has crossed the 5 lakh cumulative sales milestone in the country, marking a significant achievement since it began local operations 25 years ago. The announcement comes on the back of strong sales momentum throughout 2025, which has already turned out to be the company’s best-performing year in the Indian market.
In November 2025, the brand reported 5,491 units, nearly doubling its numbers compared to the same month last year. This follows an exceptional October 2025, when Skoda registered 8252 units, its highest-ever monthly tally.
Between January and October 2025, the company sold 61,607 units, surpassing its previous annual record of 53,721 units set in 2022.
Models Driving Growth
A major contributor to this performance has been the Kylaq subcompact SUV, which has accumulated over 40,000 units since its launch earlier this year. The limited-run Octavia RS also added to the brand’s visibility, with all 100 units selling out shortly after orders opened.
Skoda attributes its recent growth to a combination of a broader network, ownership packages targeted at value-conscious buyers and a wider product range that now caters to multiple segments.
Current Line-up
Skoda Auto India’s present portfolio includes four mass-market models:
- Kylaq (Rs. 7.56 lakh – Rs. 12.78 lakh)
- Slavia (Rs. 10 lakh – Rs. 17.70 lakh)
- Kushaq (Rs. 10.51 lakh – Rs. 18.43 lakh)
- Kodiaq (Rs. 39.99 lakh – Rs. 45.96 lakh)
The recently reintroduced Octavia RS, priced at Rs. 49.99 lakh, was offered in limited numbers and is already sold out.
With its expanding reach and a steady rise in sales, Skoda appears poised to continue building on this trajectory as it strengthens its presence across India.
