The Suzuki Burgman Street electric has been spied undisguised once again while it was taken out on public roads for testing.

Spotted by MotorBeamer Abhishek Mann the scooter looks identical to the test mules that have been spotted earlier in December 2020 (click here to read article).

Onlookers might mistake it for the regular Burgman Street, for the electric scooter does not sport any design changes. Painted in White and Blue shade, the test mule has its badges blanked off as well.

Nonetheless, the missing exhaust and the fact that there are 2 rear shocks on the scooter would give its secret away anyhow. We can also see the electric drivetrain clearly while there is also a tyre hugger at the rear.

Suzuki had only recently updated the digital console on its ICE scooters, offering numerous Bluetooth-enabled features and the same cluster can be expected on its electric scooter that will also come with LED lighting units and ample stowage.

It is likely that the battery is housed inside the floorboard of scooter, but the actual size of it is not known. Performance-wise, the electric scooter should have enough shove to ride around town and for the occasional (and short) highway rides.

Range should be above 80 km, while fast charging would make life much easier for those who buy the scooter.

Speaking of which, Suzuki might launch the Burgman Street electric in the market this year so as not to lose much ground to rivals such as the Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, among others.
