Suzuki has been doing decent numbers in the motorcycle space after the launch of the Slingshot. Although the bike has not really put the sales chart on fire, the company feels an entry level 100cc motorbike is the need of the hour. Thus Suzuki is looking at launching a 100cc motorcycle in India, which will help them gain good amount of market share. The 100cc segment accounts for close to 50% of the sales in the country. The 100cc Suzuki motorcycle will have good quality and the company intends to focus on customer satisfaction to ensure high success of their upcoming offering.
