Tata Altroz now gets new variants, features updated for all trims

Tata Motors have launched two new variants of the Altroz – XM & XM(S) that come with a price tag of Rs. 6.89 lakhs and Rs. 7.34 lakhs (ex-showroom & introductory).

These variants get new features, making the car more desirable now. The addition of electric sunroof in the XM(S) variant makes Altroz the most affordable premium hatchback to be offered with a sunroof in the country.

The new variants are positioned between the Altroz XE and the XM+. It is available only with the naturally aspirated 1.2-litre petrol engine option with manual transmission.

Some of the new features in the XM trim includes steering-mounted controls, driver seat height adjuster, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, R16 full wheel cover and a premium-looking dashboard.

Customers can also choose a bigger 9-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system, which is an optional accessory for the XM trim.

The Indian carmaker has also updated the Altroz lineup with new features across all variants. The hatchback is now available with four power windows and remote keyless entry as standard.

The XE variant will now come with rear power windows and remote keyless entry with follow me home lamps. The XM+/ XM+S will be equipped with Reverse camera, Driver seat height adjuster, Cruise control, top-end dashboard look. The XT will get Driver seat height adjuster, R16 Hyperstyle wheels and Rear defogger.

With these new additions and variants with more features, the Altroz is now targeted at a larger audience offering better VFM. What are your thoughts on these changes?
