Tata Motors is redrawing distribution plans of Fiat in India. The joint venture partner is not satisfied with the sales of Fiat cars in the country which have not lived up to expectation. The companies are considering setting up independent showrooms for Fiat cars, simultaneously selling through the Tata network as well. Sales of Fiat have dropped slightly compared to the previous fiscal and thus Tata Motors is looking at ways to improve sales of the Italian car maker. To improve the image, the Tata Motors plans to open image brand centers for Fiat. To begin with, two centers will be opened in Delhi and Pune.
