Tata Punch Camo Edition
To get a sunroof for the first time

Tata Punch CNG bookings commence at dealer level

Tata Motors is about to announce the pricing of the Punch CNG very soon, meanwhile dealers have already started accepting bookings. The car has started arriving at dealerships already.

There were speculations about the Punch CNG getting a sunroof and the dual cylinder technology. Now more details have been confirmed by a sales executive of a Tata dealership as the product training session has started.

The 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 77 PS and 97 Nm of torque in CNG mode. It produces 86 PS and 113 Nm of torque in petrol mode.

It comes with a voice assisted electric sunroof that will be available with the range topping Accomplished Dazzle variant of the car. Along with this the Punch CNG will also come with front armrest and you get additional USB-C charging socket at the rear too.

Yes, the dual cylinder CNG technology that we have seen in the Altroz for the first time, will be offered with the Punch as well. Instead of a large 60-litre CNG tank eating into the boot space, the car will be offered with two 30-litre cylinders to free up space.

Boot space capacity of the Tata Punch CNG is 210 litres. It will come with features like Auto switch, leak detection sensor, single ECU, etc. for the CNG powertrain, just like the Altroz.

Now that you get the two cylinders under the boot, the spare wheel is being offered under the chassis. It has a ground clearance of 187 mm.

There will be no changes on the exterior of the Punch CNG apart from the addition of shark fin antenna, which will make the car look a bit tidy in terms of styling.
