Tata Safari facelift latest teaser reveals rear profile of the updated SUV
Tata Motors have teased the rear profile of the Safari facelift in the latest teaser. The updated SUV will get an all-new tail light cluster with a strip of LED light that connects the two tail lights. The dynamic swipe LEDs showcase the swanky new feature of the SUV just like the LED bar up front on the nose.
The tail lights will also get dynamic swipe indicators that we have seen on the prototypes being tested recently. There are no sheet metal changes on the tailgate. It comes with new elements on the bumper with a dual tone effect. Even the font of the SAFARI lettering has changed on the tailgate. The exhaust pipe seems to be hidden under the bumper.
Tata Motors is gradually releasing new teasers for the Harrier and Safari. Soon we will see a glimpse of the interior which will get some new elements including the new 4-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo, revised dashboard design with touch sensitive panel, new gear select lever, new upholstery colour options, etc.
At the time of the launch, the Safari facelift will continue to get the same 2.0-litre diesel engine options which produces 170 PS and 350 Nm of torque. It will be available with 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options.
Tata Motors is also working on an all-electric version of the Harrier and Safari that will be launched later. They are also considering to introduce a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine with the new SUVs but we believe it is still a while away.
