Tata Safari Storme Classic Concept

Tata Safari Storme Classic concept rendered, don’t get your hopes high!

Imagine waking up one fine day to see the news: Tata Safari Storme makes a comeback with a new Classic avatar. What would be your reaction? It would be a dream come true for many OG Safari fans (including me) and a lot of SUV lovers too!

But don’t grab your chequebook just yet, this is just a digital render of the legendary SUV and unfortunately, Tata Motors has no plans to bring it back. A big shoutout to Bimble Designs for this beautiful render, which includes mild visual tweaks to make it look fresh and ready to hit the showrooms. If this turns into reality, it will be a big threat to the segment.

The front profile gets a tweaked grille design with the typical Storme badging. It comes with dual LED projector headlights that are smoked out. The bumper looks inspired by the latest SUVs being offered by Tata Motors. It has integrated LED fog lamps as well.

On the side profile you will notice the Classic badging on the front fenders. The alloy wheels look massive and take design inspiration from the new age Safari. It gets black contrasting ORVMs and door handles. The rear profile looks more or less the same but gets connected LED tail lights to make it look fresh.

The interior hasn’t been rendered but if we imagine the ideal setup for today’s generation of cars it should have a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with a 10.25-inch digital cluster. It should be offered with a premium dashboard inspired by Range Rover and get features like ventilated seats, wireless charger, wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, etc.

The Tata Safari Storme came with a 2.2-litre Varicor 400 diesel engine producing 156 PS and 400 Nm of torque. It was mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and was available with both 4×2 and 4×4 options.
