Leader of the 150cc segment bike sales in March 2021 was the TVS Apache series, with 33,162 unit sales. However, the actual leader of the pack is the Pulsar 150 from Bajaj.

That is because the sales figure of the Apache consists of numbers fetched by various models in the popular motorcycle range.

Thus, the Pulsar 150, with 29,556 unit sales leads the March 2021 150cc bike sales from the Honda Unicorn which found 23,235 takers in the month.

Fourth place in the list goes to the FZ, as Yamaha retailed over 16,500 units of the motorcycle, followed by the R15 which recorded close to 7000 unit sales and the MT-15, 6472 units of which were sold to customers in March.

Hero MotoCorp’s Xtreme comes next with 3840 unit sales, followed by the Avenger Street 160 which found just under 3100 takers.

The final 2 positions in the March 2021 150cc bike sales list are occupied by the Honda Hornet 2.0 (2058 units) and the Suzuki Gixxer, 2019 units of which were sold during March.

Except tenth-placed Gixxer and the Hornet 2.0, all the other motorcycles in the list witnessed good year-on-year (YoY) sales growth.

While the Xtreme’s figures increased exponentially, motorcycles like the MT-15 (217 percent), FZ (66 percent), Unicorn (61 percent), R15 (59 percent) and Apache series (52 percent) performed very well as well.

Overall sales of the motorcycles in the list stood at 1,26,967 units, which is a solid 54 percent growth YoY.
