TVS’s NTorq occupied the fifth position in the list with 24,555 unit sales, followed by the Hero MotoCorp Pleasure+ (23,106 units).

The Yamaha Ray came seventh with 13,812 units to its name. Closely following the Japanese scooter is the Destini 125 from Hero, 12,031 units of which were sold last month.

Ninth place in the February 2021 scooter sales list (top 10) was taken by the Yamaha Fascino which found 10,228 takers, while the Suzuki Burgman Street (8533 units) completed the chart.

When it comes to scooters that registered sales degrowth, the Fascino, with -60 percent decrease in sales YoY, leads the way, while the Pleasure+ (174 percent), Jupiter (66 percent) and Destini 125 (65 percent) all recorded good YoY sales growth.

Total sales of the scooters in the top 10 list stood at 4.3 lakh units, which is a 4 percent YoY growth, and a 2 percent increase in comparison with January this year.
